Michael Perry, 52, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on July 8, 1973, in Arcadia, Florida, the son of Walter Perry and Kathryn (Adcock) Perry.
Michael was a quiet and gentle soul who expressed his love for others through his actions rather than words. He had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed the excitement of racing. He always looked forward to his trips back to Arcadia, where he could enjoy some of his favorite things; barbecue, sweet tea, and boiled peanuts. Michael was a dedicated employee in the Auto Care Center at Walmart, and he truly loved his job. Above all else, he was most proud of his family and treasured every opportunity to spend time together with those he loved.
Michael will be remembered by his father, Walter Perry; mother, Kathryn Perry; brothers, Jason (Lacie) Perry and Kevin Perez; sisters, Lorena Perez and Selina Perez; nephew, Preston Perry; niece, Cadance Perez; many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Everette and Goldie Perry; maternal grandparents, Hayward and Sadie Simpson.
In keeping with Michael’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
