Troy A. Hinderliter, 57, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away June 19, 2023, in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Heartland Worship Center in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memorial Garden Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Heartland Worship Center, 212 West 2nd Street, Mount Carmel, Illinois.
Troy was born to the late Don Hinderliter and Diane (Hall) Tomas of Evansville, Indiana on January 30, 1966. He graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1984. Troy is survived by his children Seth (Samantha) Hinderliter of Mount Carmel, Illinois and Jesse Hinderliter of Mount Carmel, Illinois. Also surviving are his Fiancé Yvonne Burkett of Mount Carmel, Illinois, sister Kimberly (Keith) Ayres of Evansville, Indiana, niece and nephew: Brooke Ayres and Beau (Ashley) Ayres of Evansville, Indiana, granddaughters: Aurora and Emerie Hinderliter, and cousin & close friend David Hall of Mount Carmel, Illinois. Preceding him in death are his father Don Hinderliter, grandparents Kyle and Imogene Hinderliter, Elvis Hall, Clara Mae (Hall) Paille and Philip Paille.
Troy was a talented, selfless man with a big heart. He knew few strangers and easily made friends everywhere he went. His contagious laugh and sense of humor brought smiles to everyone. Troy was a proud member of the Heartland Worship Center in Mount Carmel, Illinois. He worked as a Pipefitter for Local 136 out of Evansville, Indiana for many years. Troy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved doing carpentry work and was an all-around handyman. Troy enjoyed spending time with his many pets, especially his dogs who were always by his side.
Memorials can be made to the Heartland Worship Center Life Recovery or the Wabash County Shelter Buddies. Envelopes will be available at the service.
