Ralph Noble Lambert, 78, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed away June 20, 2023, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, with his family by his side.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, June 23,2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short-Cunningham Funeral Home.
Ralph was born to the late Noble and Ina Alvina (Bump) Lambert on April 5, 1945. He was married to Linda Bump on June 23, 1988. To this union there were four children: Brian (Roberta) Lambert , Lori (Todd) Graves, Deneise (Brent) Kramer, and Jannette (Jeff) Young. Also surviving is his sister Leona Johnson; along with eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents Noble and Ina, grandson Tad Issac Lambert, and two siblings: Edward Lambert and Wilma Kleinschmidt.
Ralph was a man of many talents. He worked most of his life, to list a few: he worked on a farm, Meisner’s, owned the Shell gas station on Walnut, worked in a parts store, sold insurance, was service Manager for eleven years at Patriot and Wilderman Motors. His last employment was at Big O Tire in Princeton, Indiana at the age of 70 years old. Everyone that knew him loved him. No matter the pain he was in he would always say he was fine and always had to help you instead of himself.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the service.
