Vickie Sue Baize

Vickie Sue Baize, 65, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 7, 1951 in Wabash County the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Sperry) Lockhart. Vickie was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1969. She married the love of her life, Kevin Baize on January 31, 1981 and together they enjoyed thirty six years of marriage.

Vickie will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite time was spent with family. She loved visiting with family and friends and also loved being outdoors. Vickie was very compassionate and was always willing to help people in their time of need. She had a love for animals especially her dogs. Vickie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Vickie will be remembered by her husband, Kevin Baize of Mount Carmel; two sons, Kevin Baize II of Evansville, IN and Daniel (Cynthia) Baize of Noble, IL; two daughters, Melissa (Mike) Ewald of Mount Carmel and Kerri (Dana) Mosson of Albion, IL; grandchildren, Austin (Rachel) Rhoads, Haley Rhoads, Coyt Baize, Emma Baize, Shad Baize, Wyatt Mosson, Eli Mosson, Paige Mosson, Cecily (Brad) McDonald, Lucas Price, Alicia (Brett) Morgan and Christian Stuessel; great granddaughter, Aurora Cullison; two sisters, Terri Dardeen of Mount Carmel and Kristi (Tim) Burton of Princeton, IN; many loved nieces and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Hodgson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mount Carmel.
