Michael Dalton, 69, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois passed away on July 27, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on January 15, 1957, in Huntingburg, Indiana. He was the son of Ervin and Wilma (Wineinger) Dalton. He married Brenda Plourde on June 15, 1990, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and they had 36 wonderful years together.
Mike was a 1975 graduate from Southridge High School in Huntingburg, Indiana. He worked as a truck driver for many years, dedicating much of his life to the profession through hard work and commitment. He was a member of the Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.
Fishing was Mike’s favorite thing to do especially when he was surrounded by his family and friends. Bass Pro was one of his favorite places and you could always find him checking out the latest fishing gear and lures. Mike also enjoyed visiting flea markets and garage sales in different towns, always looking to see what unique treasures he could find.
Survived by his wife, Brenda, his children; Emily Noel (Rob) Walton and Cory Michael Price, brothers; David (Donna) Dalton, James (Ann) Dalton, Bob (Von) Dalton, grandchildren; Chris Price, Gage Price, Canon Walton, Noah Walton, and great grandchildren; Lexus Price, Kaius Price, and Xaileigh Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Mike’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no formal services.
