Bruce Wayne Street, 75, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center, in Jasper, Indiana. He was born on July 28, 1950, in Claremont, Illinois, the son of Herbert B. and Martha E. (Atwood) Street. Bruce faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. He married Annie Land and together they enjoyed thirty-four years of marriage before her passing on March 25, 2016.
Bruce was a devoted family man who treasured time spent with those he loved. In his free time, he found peace in the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed keeping up with NCAA basketball. Bruce dedicated forty-nine years to Pacific Press and Shear, where he made many friendships before his retirement.
Bruce will be remembered by his daughter, Stephanie Odom; two sons, Jack Street, and Chad Street; grandchildren, Michelle (Anthony) Webb, Sarah Odom, Markus Odom, Morgan Odom, Jackson Street and Blake Street; four great grandchildren; brother, Ray (Paula) Street; sisters, Ellen (Robert) Asa, Marnette Elliott, Irene (Brian) Hanger; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Street; sister, Elaine Davis; brothers-in-law, Don Elliott and Bob Davis.
Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Asa officiating.
