Saundra “Sandy” Vallandingham, 84, of Stonefort, Illinois passed away on February 23, 2026, at SIH Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, Illinois.
She was born on March 15, 1941, in Princeton, Indiana. Saundra was the daughter of Charles and Helen Keneipp. She married Robert Earl Harms, and after his passing married William Vallandingham.
Saundra worked as a cook at Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation, Shurtleff Manor, and United Methodist Village North. She was a very loving, strong, and caring person. She loved her family immensely.
She is survived by her children, James Wayne Harms of Eddyville, IL, Ricky Earl Harms of Noble, IL, Kevin Robert Harms of Eddyville, IL, and Scott Harms of Noble, IL; her sister, Sharon Hansman of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Melony, Kaleb, Josie, Robert, Anthony, Ryan, Troy, River, Brandon, Ashley, and Tanner; and several great-grandchildren, including James, Mason, Chayse, Kaleb, and Hunter.
Saundra was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and her sister, Shirley Iglehart.
Per her wishes, Saundra will be cremated and laid to rest in Highland Memorial Cemetery, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
