Mary F. Crawley, 94, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, peacefully passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her family.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Harrison Cemetery.
A visiation of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, before the funeral service.
Mary was born March 2, 1930, in Princeton, Indiana, the daughter of Andrew and Elsie (Colbert) Hart. She was married to James Crawley. Mary attended Heartland Worship Center and was a dishwasher at Hadley’s Café for many years.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her children Leonard “Ed” Lashbrook and wife Debra of Allendale, Illinois and Mellissa Moore of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; grandchildren Shane (Leslie) Lashbrook, Tracy (Christy) Lashbrook, Travis (Molly) Lashbrook, Sara (Jacob) McClane, Mike Hoehn, Chad Hoehn, Michelle (Travis) Eads, Melanie (Jeremy) Crane and Austin (Kelsea) Moore; siblings Rebecca Hyneman and Bobby Joe Hart, both of Princeton, Indiana; thirty great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents; husband; daughters, Francis Ravellette and Donna Sue Lashbrook; a grandson, Scott Lashbrook and a granddaughter, Chris Keepes; and siblings, Hazel Dill, Virginia Hart, Frank Hart, Charles Hart, Don Hart and Dororthy Chamberlain.
