Angie D. Porter, 59, of Boonville, IN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on February 17, 1964 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the daughter of Norman and Melinda (Storm) Brunson. Angie married Kevin Porter on April 2, 1981 in Mount Carmel and together they enjoyed forty-two years of marriage centered around their family.
Angie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was a very talented author and wrote books centered on Christian novels. In her free time, Angie enjoyed being outdoors and going on long hikes while appreciating nature. She was very fond of animals especially her dogs. Angie loved making and wearing tie-dyed shirts. She was also very tech savvy, and wrote security programs for different companies. Angie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Angie will be remembered by her husband, Kevin Porter; son, Levi Porter; daughter, Keyla Porter; mother, Melinda Brunson; sister, Holly French; nieces and nephews, Chloe, Evie and Wyatt French, Dylan Porter, Dominique and Lexie Spruell.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Norm Brunson; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Brunson Childers; and nephew, Drew Porter.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Jeanne Kendall officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
