Jackie Lee Hughes, age 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Jackie was born in Crown Hill, WV the son of the late Melvin and Elizabeth (Seacrest) Hughes. He was an Iron Worker with Local 22 retiring after 29 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Post 276 and Eagles Lodge #4167 in Beech Grove. He loved to camp and fish, was an avid Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and brothers David and Danny Hughes.
Jackie is survived by his sons, Kenneth, Wayne and Christopher Hughes.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., EST, Monday, April 3, 2023 at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, Indiana with Rev. Ron Polly officiating. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with military rites immediately following the service. Burial will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in the Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, Illinois at 2:00 p.m. CST.
