Lynnette Roosevelt, 51, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 15, 1971, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Fred Moody and Lorretta (Campbell) Moody.
Lynnette was a 1989 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She had previously been employed at Champion Laboratories and most recently at Toyota Motor Manufacturing. Lynnette’s favorite hobby was building Legos. She enjoyed it so much that her family often gave her new sets as gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Lynnette was a very involved single mother of two daughters who were her pride and joy. She was their biggest fan at their sporting events and the three of them really enjoyed going out to eat and trying new places. Lynnette was proud of the trip to Europe she was able to do with Taylor. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence on this earth will be dearly missed.
Lynnette leaves behind her parents; daughters, Chelsea Roosevelt, Taylor Roosevelt; one brother, Roger Moody; three nieces and two nephews.
Lynnette was preceded in death by her grandparents.
In keeping with Lynnette’s wishes, no formal services are planned at this time.
