Robin Scott Keyes, 60, of Keensburg, Illinois, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1962, the son of Dr. Richard and Phyllis (Hanson) Keyes. He married Kathryn Campbell, on March 26, 2004, and together they have enjoyed eighteen years of marriage.
Robin worked as a truck driver at Bestway Express. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his pickup truck. During his younger years he liked hunting and being outdoors. Robin was an animal lover, who loved his dog Shadow. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking them on trips to Beall’s Woods. Robin was a member of Union Mission Church. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
Robin leaves behind his loving wife, Kate; children, Stacey (Kevin Frye) Keyes, Kyle (Leah) Keyes, Colin Seivers; stepchildren, Cory, Todd, and Ryan Bertram; grandchildren, Trey and Kohl Frye, Kylee, Gabe and Grant Keyes; step-grandchildren, Rowan, Eli, Lexi, and Brooklyn Bertram; brothers, Steve (Rita) Keyes, Kurt (Ann) Keyes; sister-in-law, Judy Keyes; aunt, Geri Benson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robin was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Keyes.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Robin’s life will be planned for a later date.
