Mrs. Kathy G. (Spade) Strine, age 75 of West Salem, IL and formerly of Robinson, IL died Monday September 6, 2021, at 9:50 PM EST at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Evansville, IN following a brief illness.
Born February 17, 1946, in Robinson, IL she was one of five children born to William Richard “Bill” and Etola A. (Garringer) Spade. On April 3, 1963, she married William Ray Strine and he survives.
Other survivors include son, Terry Strine and fiancé Leah Davis, West Salem, IL, a daughter, Jenny Strine, West Salem, IL and son, Tom Strine, West Salem, IL; two brothers and a sister-in-law Rollie M. Spade, Lawrenceville, IL, William E. and Liz Spade, Vincennes, IN; and a sister, Mrs. Julia Shipman, Lawrenceville, IL.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Barbara Osborn.
The Funeral Service will be Tuesday September 14, 2021, at 3:00 PM at the Lick Prairie Church in Bellmont, IL with Rev. Yancy Taber officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Lick Prairie Cemetery, Bellmont, IL.
