Kima Elizabeth Minter, 82, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. She was born on January 16, 1939 in Mount Carmel, the daughter of Jack and Dora (Brewer) Ewing. She married Jack Minter and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2013.
Kima enjoyed being a homemaker. She developed a love for gardening at a young age and was proud of her beautiful flower beds each season. Kima was talented at creating dried floral arrangements to decorate her home. She enjoyed cooking for her family and had a love for animals. She enjoyed traveling and always said San Francisco was her favorite place to visit. Kima loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Kima leaves behind her children; Scott Minter of Mount Carmel, Tim Minter and wife Marinia of Evansville, IN, Kristi Snyder and husband Tom of Whiteland, IN, Kendra Deputy and fiancé Troy Cropper of Mount Carmel; granddaughter, Katy Spencer; and great granddaughter, Nevaeh Cooper.
Kima was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jack Minter.
A private family service will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery where Kima will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
