Rebecca “Becky” Williams, 80, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away on April 16, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on February 5, 1939, in Arlington, Kentucky, the daughter of James and Katherine (Davis) Todd.
Becky loved her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in her heart. During Becky’s working career, she worked hard as a secretary for several small businesses. She loved to travel and trips to Florida and Hawaii were among her fondest memories. In her free time, Becky enjoyed relaxing while working crossword puzzles. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Becky will be remembered by her daughter, Roberta Wright and husband William of Newburgh, IN; two grandchildren, Michael (Ashley James) Wright and Jennifer Wright; two great grandchildren, Jayden Wright and Harper Wright; three sisters, Carolyn Tolbert of Princeton, IN, Linda Stewart of Carmel, IN and Diana (David) Wright of Mount Carmel; brother in law, Larry Reed; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Reed and Louise Goldman; brother, James Phillips, Jr.; and step father, James F. Phillips, Sr.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Richison officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mount Carmel.
