The funeral service for Rebecca Joan Beck-Sturm was held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Fields conducted the service. It included Prayer, Scripture Readings, Eulogy and Message. Sherry Beck was keyboardist playing prelude and postlude music. During the service Jill Bradshaw, Joan’s daughter, sang “Celebrate Me Home” and John Beck, Deb Buchanan, Becky Bennett and Jill Bradshaw, Joan’s children, sang “That Old Country Church.” The burial service was conducted by Pastor Fields at Orio Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chad Bennett, Andy Bennett, Ryan Goodner, Benjamin Bradshaw, Jaxon Bradshaw, Keaton Bradshaw and Lanny Peach. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Bradshaw, Verl Buchanan and Ed Bennett. Short-Cunningham Funeral Homes was honored to serve Joan’s family.
