The funeral service for Ruth D. Wever was held Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Moore conducted the service. It included prayer, obituary reading, scripture, eulogy and message. Marcia Woodcock was keyboardist for the service. Special songs during the service were “Go Rest High on That Mountain,” on CD by Vince Gill, “I Can Only Imagine” on CD by Mercyme and “Amazing Grace” played by Marcia. The burial service was conducted by Pastor Moore at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Russelburg, Teresa Howe, Pat Thombleson, Randy Thombleson, Mike Risley and Mark Risley. Short-Cunningham Funeral Homes and Highland Memorial Cemetery was honored to serve Ruth’s family.
