Jerri Lynn Askren, 39, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Wabash General Hospital. She was born May 25, 1978 in Princeton, Indiana the daughter of Gerald and Darlene (Reed) Askren.
Jerri Lynn was employed at Wabash Area Vocational Enterprises. In her free time she greatly enjoyed fishing and bowling. Jerri Lynn loved to tease her friends and family. She was involved in Special Olympics and was proud of the many awards she earned. Jerri Lynn was a member of Pentecostal Faith Assembly. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Jerri Lynn will be remembered by her mother, Darlene Askren; brothers, Johnny (Candy) Askren and Tommy (Kelly) Askren; nieces and nephews, Halie, Katie, Hanna, Johnny Jr., Matthew, Keisha, Shantel; great-niece, Kenlee and several aunts, uncle and cousins. Jerri Lynn was preceded in death by her father.
Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Brother Bill Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
