On August 24, 2021, at 7:12 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on a Dark Blue 2007 Ford 500 for traveling 106 mph in a 60 mph zone on US 41 near County Road 350 South. Upon approaching the vehicle at the traffic stop on County Road 100 West Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 20-year-old Javier Haynes of Henderson, Kentucky. After a brief roadside investigation Mr. Haynes was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Reckless Driving. He has since posted a $900 bond.
