On 12/04/21, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Tyler E. Slone, age 39, of Mt. Carmel, for Violation of an Order of Protection following an incident at a residence in the 1100 block of Hillcrest Drive. Police were called to the home by the resident who reported Slone was outside banging on the exterior of the house trying to talk to the resident. However, Slone had been served an Emergency Order of Protection on 11/30/21 which prohibited contact with the resident. When police arrived, Slone was found outside of the home at which time he was taken into custody. Slone was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
