On 12/02/21, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Michael W. Fahey, age 47, of Mt. Carmel, for Domestic Battery following an incident at a residence in the 400 block of W 3rd Street. Police were called to the residence because of an alleged battery to a female occupant in the home. Upon arrival, officers found evidence to indicate Fahey had battered his girlfriend during a dispute. Fahey was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
