Princeton Man Faces Charges In Connection To January Incident

A 19 year old Princeton man is free on a $5,000 cash bond after he was arrested for two alleged incidents with a 14 year old girl in Wabash County. Andrew Robb has been charged with a Class 4 felony of grooming and a Class A misdemeanor of criminal sexual abuse in connection to the incidents last month.

According to the charges filed by Wabash County State’s Attorney Cassandra Goldman, the grooming count alleges Robb used an electronic transmission to entice the 14 year old to engage in unlawful sexual conduct. The criminal sexual abuse charge alleges Robb had sexual contact with the girl on January 21st and 22nd. Robb made his initial appearance in Wabash County Circuit Court on Monday where he was advised of the charges and penalties.

A preliminary hearing was set for March 23rd. A condition of Robb’s bond is that he is not on the Mt. Carmel Junior High School property and not to have any contact with the alleged victim.
