On 8/25/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Shawn D. Standish, age 45, of Princeton, IN, for Aggravated Battery after a physical dispute in the 300 block of N Walnut Street. Once officers arrived they found evidence indicating that Standish had struck a female in the head with a piece of pipe. Standish was later located and placed under arrest. Standish was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
