911 call of a disturbance leads to arrest of Tennessee woman on multiple charges

On October 13th, 2019, at 3:17 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance at the Flying J travel center located at 844 E 1250 South. Upon arriving Deputy U.B. Smith located the involved parties and began an investigation into the incident. One party 28-year-old Santana Nicole Knott of Culleoka, Tennesse attempted to hinder Deputy Smith’s investigation by giving a false name and identifying information. However, upon learning her true identity Deputy Smith placed Ms. Knott into custody. While placing Ms. Knott into custody Drug Paraphernalia, a Syringe, and Methamphetamine were found in her possession. At that point Deputy Smith transported Ms. Knott to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with False Informing, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of Methamphetamines. She remains in custody on a $1500 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Deputy Loren Barchett.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
