05/01/2018-Mt. Carmel Police were given a tip that narcotics were being used at the Valley Garden Dorms located at 119 Risley Avenue in Mt. Carmel. Police responded to the area and arrested 20 year old Natalie E. Laws of Mt. Carmel after it is alleged she was found in possession of five small bags of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, and electronic scales. Laws was arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivery of cannabis. Laws was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of bond.
Police also arrested 19 year old Brooke M. Dehosse of Princeton when officers found her to be in possession of alcohol. Dehosse was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for possession of alcohol by a minor and then released. MCPD was assisted by the Sheriff's Office.
