Mt. Carmel Police arrested 26 year old Shannon N. Fisher of Keensburg on a warrant charging her with possession of methamphetamine. On October 17, 2017, Fisher was arrested for driving while suspended. During the arrest MCPD Officer's and K-9 Ace located an unknown substance in a vehicle she was driving. MCPD sent the unknown substance to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab for analysis and it was determined to be methamphetamine. Fisher was taken to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending the posting of $1,000 cash bond.
