Mt. Carmel Jr. Aces baseball advances to the Regional Championship with a win over Carmi-White Co. with the score of 16-7.
The Mt. Carmel Jr. Aces rack up 16 runs off of 15 hits. Tate buss lead the way going 4 for 4, scoring 4 times. Brantley Krup, Wade Duckworth, Bryden Tougaw, and Cade Tillotson each had two hits apiece. Ridge Keepes, Aran Guanipa, and Landon Zuber each added one hit.
A strong pitching relief effort by Cade Tillotson shut Carmi down. He went four and two thirds innings only allowing one earned run off of one hit, while striking out six.
The Jr. Aces now advance to the Regional Championship game to avenge their only loss on the season taking on Flora, in Flora Saturday at 10 a.m.
