Lady Warriors Win 9th Straight

At Gallatin, Tennessee last night the Wabash Valley College Lady Warriors picked up their 14th win and nine in a row as they defeated Volunteer State 68 to 50. The Lady Warriors are now 14-1 on the season.

The Lady Warriors jumped out to an early lead and that was all they needed as they were up 36 to 23 at half time. Ashley Moore was the top scorer on the night with 21 points while DeAsia Outlaw had 17 points and 8 rebounds. Maria Hunter had 10 points and Ruby Angok would have 8 points and had 10 rebounds.

Mariah McCully the Lady Warriors leading scorer did not make the trip as she was out with the flu. Coach Luke Scheidecker's wife had a baby girl on Monday and Assistant coach Jack Trosper coached the team last night in his absence.
