Phyllis Bailey, 86, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 8, 1939, In Mount Carmel, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Fisher) Lucas. On May 22, 1957, she married Harold Lee Bailey, and together they enjoyed sixty-eight years of marriage until his passing on September 25, 2025.
Phyllis leaves behind her two daughters, Terry King and Karen (Ron) Keepes; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
