Robert M. Stoltz, 76

Robert M. Stoltz, 76, of Freelandville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Glenburn Senior Living in Linton, Indiana. He was born on November 23, 1949, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Robert A. and Helen F. (Renner) Stoltz. Robert was married to Patricia A. Strange on November 23, 1969, and together they enjoyed fifty-six years of marriage centered on their family.

Robert dedicated many years of his career to working as a salesman in the industrial supply business. He was well known for his love of bowling and spent many years actively involved in a bowling league in Vincennes, Indiana. Robert earned numerous awards for his accomplishments in the sport and faithfully served as the treasurer of his bowling league for many years. He was also a member of the American Bowling Association. Outside of bowling, Robert enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He rarely missed a chance to attend their sporting events and took great pride in supporting them in all their activities.

Robert will be remembered by his wife, Patricia A. Stoltz; son, Robert “Randy” Stoltz; grandchildren, Karina Stoltz and Lucas Stoltz; brother, Kenny Stoltz and wife, Diana.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. Stoltz and Helen F. Stoltz; and sister, Denise Stoltz.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. central standard time, Thursday, March 12, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor David Shain officiating. A private burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery in Freelandville, Indiana at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to the Bethel Church, 13673 E. St Rd 58, Edwardsport, IN 47528 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 701 N Weinbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47711. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
