Victor Eugene Schoenheit, 46, of Fullerton, California, passed away on June 19, 2025 in California. He was born on September 10, 1978 in Fairfield, Illinois, the son of Reggie and Donna Schoenheit.
Victor shared a special bond with his father, spending countless hours hunting and fishing together. In recent years, they found joy in reminiscing about their many outdoor adventures. A passionate music lover, Victor began playing guitar at a young age. His love for music grew into a lifelong pursuit, leading him to perform across Southern California with his band, The Heartwreckers. He especially enjoyed singing and playing alongside his bandmates, pouring his heart into every performance.Victor was also a devoted Chicago Cubs fan and a proud dog dad to his beloved fur baby, Hester, who brought him endless joy and companionship. Victor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit, talent, and love will live on in the memories he leaves behind.
Victor will be remembered by his parents; sister, Sara Schoenheit of Fort branch, IN; nephew, Gage Schoenheit of Fort Branch, IN; grandmother, Jean King of Evansville, IN; aunt and uncle, Dana (Jeff) Brown of Evansville, IN; cousins, Shane and Melanie of Evansville, IN; life-long friend, John Dailey and his children, Page and John, Jr; and a community of friends in California.
Victor was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Bonnie Schoenheit; grandfather, Rollie Lynn.
A Celebration to honor Victor’s life will be held at a later date.
