Ida Elaine (Green) Roosevelt, 81, of Albion, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at home. She was born on August 14, 1943 in Bridgeport, Illinois, the daughter of J. Willard and Viola (Summers) Green. Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Green; her parents; and her husband of many years, Donald Roosevelt.
Elaine will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit and her spunky, playful personality. Elaines devotion to her faith was unwavering. She enjoyed crochet projects and spending time with family and friends. Her memory will be cherished, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elaine will be remembered by her son who she adored, Sidney (Roberta) Davis; sister, Loretta Deisher; nieces, Rhonda Burns, and Cassey Courson; nephew, Kent Deisher.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes a private family burial will take place at Harrison Cemetery in Lancaster, Illinois.
In honor of her memory, family and friends are encouraged to celebrate Elaine’s life in a way that feels most meaningful to them. Whether through a quiet reflection, a shared story, or a simple act of kindness, may Elaine’s spirit continue to touch lives.
