Christopher Ray Shelby, 44, of Vincennes, Indiana, unexpectedly passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on July 28, 1979, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Ron Pulliam and Kathy (Moore) Pulliam.
Chris worked in the construction industry. He was a man of great faith who obtained his pastoral license while in prison and served as a ministerial counselor to many inmates. Chris had a big heart, always sharing with his children and was a protector of his loved ones. He enjoyed lifting weights and loved to make people laugh. Music was a huge part of his life. Chris will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Chris leaves behind his son, Christopher Alex Shelby; daughters, Morgan (Vincent) Mayo, and Arian Shelby; two grandsons, Scott Lee Shelby, and Holden Scott Shelby; parents, Kathy and Ron Pulliam; wife, Brittany (Fear) Shelby; sisters, April Lynn Smith, Andrea Seibert, Cassie Lingo, Christie (Mark) Curry, Cynthia (Shawn) Collins; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by his uncles, Albert, Roy, and Billy Moore, Kevin Shelby, Donnie Jackson; and one aunt, Diane Cox.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2024, at Heartland Worship Center.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2024, at Heartland Worship Center.
