While living in northern Illinois, and later in Kentucky, Marjorie was a school bus driver. She taught ceramics classes for many years, and treasured the friendships she had made while making crafts. Marjorie loved horses, and spent many enjoyable hours supporting her daughter’s horse riding activities. As her family resided in different areas of the country, including northern Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Connecticut, Kansas, and Kentucky, Majorie always encouraged and helped her children to appreciate the history and uniqueness of their home area.
