Jade McClane, 37, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1986, in Mount Carmel, the daughter of Mark McClane and Tonja Mollenhauer.
Jade was an amazing artist who expressed herself in her artwork. She loved listening to music and writing. Jade had a fondness for animals and enjoyed watching cartoons and scary movies. She had a deep religious faith. Jade loved cooking and talking to people. She really liked her nickname, “Jadeo Potato”. Spending time with her family was very important to her, especially with her daughters. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Jade leaves behind her mother, Tonja Mollenhauer; father, Mark McClane; daughters, Safiya Farmer, Anaya McClane; brother, Mickey (Mindy) McClane; sisters, Kisha (Steven) Summers, Brynn (Nathan) Cooper, Erin (Jacob) Freeman; several loved nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Jade was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles, and Bernice Stuessel; paternal grandparents, Donald, and Joyce McClane.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2024, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2024, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
