Nola Nathalie Hinderliter, 87, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Nola was born September 18, 1934 in Gibson County, Indiana, the daughter of Babel and Mildred (Williams) McClellan. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She married George Richard Hinderliter in Mt. Carmel. She was a homemaker and loved time spent raising her family.
Left to cherish Nola’s memory are her daughter, Vicki Wilcox of Avon, Indiana; her sons, Dan (Jessie) Hinderliter, George M. (Clarissa) Hinderliter and James R. Hinderliter all of Mt. Carmel; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and sister Dora Owen of Carmi, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of sixty-two years, George Richard Hinderliter; son, Richard M. Hinderliter; daughter, Debbie Reed; sisters, Judy Davis, Lillian Fatherly, and Louise Wilhite.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Short-Cunningham Funeral Home, 527 N Mulberry Street, in Mt., Carmel. A Graveside Service will be Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery
