Catherine L. Knight, 65, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Aperion Health Care, in Fairfield, Illinois. She was born on March 21, 1957, the daughter of Alvin L. and Martha (Cunningham) Burke.
Cathy was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Pogo games online. Cathy had a love for cats. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Cathy’s grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Cathy is survived by her son, Jason Williams; stepson, Chris Trusty; daughter, Caitlin Burke; bonus daughters, Amy Kettlehut, and Stacy Deering; six grandchildren; brother, David Burke; sister, Marilyn Perry; son-in-law, William Carsey III; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Louis Wayne Burke; niece, Branda Ramirez; ex-husband, Wayne Knight.
In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
