Betty J. Dardeen, 86, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Oakview Nursing and Rehab, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 29, 1935, in Grayville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Virginia (Mobley) Bratton.
Betty devoted her life to her family and homemaking. She enjoyed keeping her home spotless. She loved her children, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Betty leaves behind two daughters, Nancy Rosignol and husband Paul, Vickie Schmitt and husband, Jeff; one son, Tim Dardeen and wife, Cheri; five loved stepchildren; many loved grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Wanda) Watkins, John (Ginger) Bratton; and one sister Aline West.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands, John Schonaman and James Dardeen; daughter, Janice Kay Schonaman; sister, Jody Noble; brother, Roy Bratton, and an infant brother.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Mark Richison officiating.
