Timothy Aaron (Griffin) Vestal, 34, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1986 in South Bend, Washington, the son of James and Edith J. (Parham) Vestal. Timmy suffered from Type 1 Diabetes from a young age.
Timmy was always fond of this area and this past year he moved back to the area from Washington State to be near family. Timmy loved being here with his best friend and the person he sweetly idolized the most, his big brother, Ryan Vestal. Timmy appreciated the little things in life and was a true comedian. He loved animals especially cats. He was the happiest when he was spending time with family and friends.
Timmy will be remembered by his mother, Edith Vestal; father, James Vestal; brother, Ryan (Melani Catt) Vestal; sister, Bethena Hoffman; grandfather, James Burrell; nieces and nephews, Jax, Keirsten, Gracie, Ellie Vestal and Jade Hoffman; two special uncles, Denny Parham and Rob Meadows.
Timmy was preceded in death by his father, Rick Griffin; grandmothers, Linda Keyser and Eddie Griffin.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the family and close friends who helped bring Timmy home.
In keeping with Timmy’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held at this time.
