Dorothy L. “Dolly” Clore, 68, of Bellmont, Illinois, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Deaconess Hospital Mid-Town in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on January 15, 1952 in Lions Head, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Delbert and Mary (Mitrella) Tapsell.
Dolly married Mitchell Clore on January 5, 1969 and together they enjoyed fifty-one years of marriage.
Dolly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She loved hosting Sunday family dinners and always looked forward to having her family all together. Dolly enjoyed traveling and taking family vacations. She also enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with friends. Dolly will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
Dolly will be remembered by her husband, Mitchell Clore; children, Tammy (Travis Hering) Warmack, Mary (Scott) Rayborn, Michelle (Doug) Isaac and Mitchell Clore; grandchildren, Brandon (CJ Simpson) Clore, Gage (Keirsten) Ellinghausen, Brice (Molly) Ellinghausen, Reece Isaac, Samantha Clore, Logan Rayborn, Evan Isaac, Wyatt Warmack, Mason Rayborn, Mahayla Clore, Brayden Rayborn, Jayce Clore and Jazmyne Clore; great grandchildren, Sophia Clore, Kaylin Cropper, Emmett Ellinghausen, Kinley Ellinghausen, Torryn Simpson, Jax Ellinghausen; siblings, Carol Paul and John Tapsell; special friend, Jada Hutchings; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home. Social distancing practices will be in place and facial coverings would be appreciated.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Burns officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dolly’s memory to Wabash Rally Against Cancer. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
