David Peter Kieffer 73, of Evansville, Indiana passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. David was born June 7, 1947, in Patoka, Indiana, the son of Raymond A. and Mary F. "Peter” Kieffer.
In his younger years David was an auto body repairman. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mount Carmel. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
David will be remembered by his five siblings, Joe Ray Kieffer and wife Mary Lou of Mt. Carmel, IL, Ronald K Kieffer and wife Joella of Eldorado, IL, Virginia Goldman of Mt. Carmel, IL, Jerome L. “Jerry” Kieffer and wife Mary of St. Francisville, IL, Michael R. Kieffer and wife Nancy of McCutchanville, IN.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. and Mary F. "Peter” Kieffer; two siblings, Cecilia Bellessa and Raymond A. Kieffer Jr.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 N. Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863. Social distancing practices will be in place.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home, with Father Robert Zwilling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to St. Mary’s Catholic School.
