Theodore J. “Ted” Doan, 42, of Albion, Illinois, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Edwards County, Illinois. He was born on May 5, 1977 in Mount Carmel, the son of Ronald and Tho Doan. Ted was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School Class of 1995. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving guy. Ted, never knew a stranger and he had a gift of talking with people, and could turn any situation into something funny. He was so proud of his son, Bret, and always loved cheering him on in all his sporting events. He was a mechanic and had a gift for fixing things. Ted always saw the good in people and will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Ted will be remembered by his son, Bret Doan of Mount Carmel; parents, Ronald and Tho Doan of Mount Carmel; brother, Tim (Holly) Doan of Evansville; and many friends who Ted loved keeping in contact with. Ted was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary E. Doan. A private family Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
