Jeffrey L. Seaton, 65, of Robinson, Illinois, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on March 9, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Robert and Sara (Bosaw) Seaton. He married LaDonna Wagoner on June 26, 1993at the First Christian Church in Palestine, Illinois.
Jeff will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed playing a round of golf with his friends. He was very strong in his faith and loved his Church family at Robinson Free Methodist and also Mount Carmel Free Methodist Church. While living in Mt. Carmel, Jeff served as a trustee for the Free Methodist Church. Jeff was a very hard worker where he was employed at Snap On Tools for thirty two years and also worked at Berry Plastics. In his younger years, Jeff enjoyed running long distance and participated in several marathons. Jeff will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
Jeff will be remembered by his wife, LaDonna Seaton of Robinson, IL; son, Robert (Gabe) Seaton of Mt. Carmel; two daughters, Amber Seaton and Elizabeth Seaton both of Mt. Carmel; two grandchildren; brother, Chris (Lisa) Seaton; two sisters, Anna (Ben) Campbell and Lisa (Les) Oaks; many loved nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted the family will have a Private Graveside Service at Palestine City Cemetery to honor the life of Jeff Seaton. A Celebration of Life will also be held at the Robinson Free Methodist Church.
