Terry Peach, 74, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on September 2, 1946 in Knox County, Indiana, the son of Norman and Virginia (Schwartz) Peach. Terry married Connie Bertram on September 25, 1964 and together they enjoyed fifty-six years of marriage centered on their family.
Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was the happiest when he was with his family. Terry’s grandchildren held a special place in his heart and he enjoyed following them in their sporting events. He always looked forward to family trips to Panama City Beach, and trips out west. Terry and Connie also loved visiting the Smokey Mountains, where they recently visited to celebrate their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary. Terry was graduate of Mount Carmel High School class of 1964 where he played football. He loved being outdoors enjoying nature and also enjoyed fishing with family. Terry worked at Snap On Tools for forty years where he made many friendships. Terry will be missed by all who knew him
Terry will be remembered by his loving wife, Connie Peach of Mount Carmel; son, Terry “Scott’ Peach and wife Lesley of Greenville, IN; daughter, Christina Page and husband Andy of Princeton, Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob (Charity Miskell) Page, Colton (Kaitlynn Lloyd) Page, Evan Peach and Ella peach; great grandson on they way, Jaxon Lee Page arriving in May; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Steven Peach.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2020, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Following the Visitation, no formal service will be held. Burial will take place at a later date at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Social distancing practices will be in place and facial coverings will be required.
