Bradley R. Hawf, 58, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at home. He was born on October 8, 1961 in Mount Carmel, the son of Reverend William Paul and Gretchen (Hipsher) Hawf.
Brad worked as a crane operator in the construction industry. His remarkable skills in operating the very tall cranes provided him with many job opportunities all over the country, including Walt Disney World. Brad greatly enjoyed his work and many times the construction companies requested him specifically. In his spare time, Brad enjoyed woodworking and motorcycle riding. He was an outdoorsman and liked to hunt and trap shoot. Brad attended Wabash Presbyterian Church at Orio. Most important to Brad was all his family whom he loved dearly. Brad will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Brad will be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter, Adrianna Hawf; sisters, Paula Webb, Alison (Curtis) Dudley, and Jama Hawf; bonus children, David (Tina) Emery, Charlie Allen, Lisa Howell, Becky Gaumer ; nieces and nephews, Chad Beaumont, Tiffany Price, Chantel Welker, William Gallucci; several great-nieces and nephews along with several bonus grandchildren who lovingly called him PaPaw.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents; son, Matthew Hawf; and brother, Gary Lee Hawf.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McGinnis officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Adams Corner Cemetery.
