Funeral Services for Sondra Faye Burton and her father, John S. “Sammy” Carwile, Sr., were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2019 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Hodgson officiating. The service included reading of the obituaries, Scripture readings, a message and prayer. Special music included “Daddy’s Hands”, “When I Get To Where I’m Going” and “Heaven Needed Another Angel”. Burial took place at Wabash Presbyterian Cemetery, Orio, IL. Full Military Honors were conducted to honor the time John served in the United States Navy. Pallbearers for Sondra Burton were Steve Burton, John Burton, Joe Burton, Joshua Burton, Dustin Deisher and Matthew Burton. Pallbearers for John Carwile Sr. were Dylan Woods Jr., Michael Carwile, Nathan Carwile, Sammy Carwile, Jacob Carwile and Russell Moore.
