Margaret Ann Schwartz, 62, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, passed Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by loving family.
Maggie was born October 20, 1955, in Wabash County, Illinois, the middle child of Harold and Norma (Raigner) Wheeler. On March 16, 2010, Maggie married Glen Schwartz.
Maggie worked for Wabash Valley College for several years. She and Glen enjoyed camping and traveling. Their fondest memories are of Disney World and the Florida beaches.
Left to cherish Maggie’s memory are her husband, Glen; children, Crystal Deisher of Princeton, Indiana, Derek Deisher and wife Stacy of Mt. Carmel; Tim Schwartz and wife Liz of Aurora, Illinois; three grandchildren; siblings, Sharon (Dennis) Hale of Mt. Carmel, Janet Sutton of Mt. Carmel, Harold (Jane) Wheeler, Jr. of Carmi, Illinois, and, Tammy Wheeler of Carmi, Illinois.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Raigner; and, nephew, Jacob Wheeler.
Funeral services for Maggie will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Home, 527 N. Mulberry Street, with visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
