Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home to honor the life of Jack “Jay” Elliott II. Pastor John Schmeling conducted the service assisted by Nancy Johns. Scripture passages during the service included readings from Job 19, Romans 8 and John 14. Nancy read the poem “His Journey’s Just Begun”. Special music during the service included, “Seasons in the Sun” by Terry Jacks, “Goodbye My Friend” by Linda Ronstadt, “The Lord’s Prayer” by Sister Janet Mead and “Dancing in the Sky” by Dani and Lizzy. Burial took place at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mount Carmel, Illinois. Pallbearers were Alex Orr, Greg Shaw, Mark Green, John Saum, Rian Waterbury and Jarhord Roach. Keepes Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jay Elliott II.
