Funeral Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home to honor the life of Donald Louis “Donnie” Brines. Pastor Bobby Smith conducted the service that included opening prayer, reading of the obituary, message and scripture passages. Instrumental hymns during the service included, “Amazing Grace”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art”. Burial took place at Antioch Cemetery in Keensburg, Illinois. During the processional to the cemetery, Hocking Farms lead the procession with a John Deere tractor and planter that Donnie would have been extremely proud of. Pallbearers were Larry Hocking, Todd Hocking, Matt Hocking, Don Daniel, Danny Daniel and David Brines. Logan Elliott and Joey Brines served as honorary pallbearers.
