STUART WARREN HIPSHER, 58

Stuart W. Hipsher, 58, of St. Francisville, Illinois, peacefully went to heaven Monday, January 22, 2018, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was born November 18, 1959, the son of Roy and Deanna (Beesley) Hipsher in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Stuart was a graduate of the Allendale Class of 1977.

On December 28, 2008, Stuart married Pam Brooks in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was a elder of the Wabash Presbyterian Church at Orio, Illinois. Stuart was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, trapping, mushroom hunting, playing horseshoes, raising chickens for his egg ministry, raising rabbits with his daughter and was a great carpenter. Above all, Stuart loved being involved with the Hickory Grove Great Banquet, playing bass for the church praise team and playing on his church softball league in which he was referred to as “Commissioner.” He worked for Snap-On Tools and later went on to work at Toyota for fifteen years.

Left to honor Stuart’s memory are his parents, Roy and Deanna Hipsher of St. Francisville, Illinois; wife, Pam; children, Justin Hipsher and wife Amanda of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Rachel Tran and her husband Chuc also of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Faith Hurst of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Wynter Schultz and fiancé Jerold Wilcox of St. Francisville, Illinois; grandchildren, Noah, Abigail and Avianna Hipsher; and, a brother, Philip G. Hipsher and his wife Tina of Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

Stuart was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The funeral service for Stuart will be held Friday, January 26, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Wabash Presbyterian Church in Orio, Illinois. Burial will follow in the Orio Cemetery.

Friends and family may call for a visitation at the Wabash Presbyterian Church in Orio, Illinois, Thursday, January 25, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the Hickory Grove Great Banquet or the Wabash Presbyterian Church Softball Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church or Short Funeral Home.
